Our Story
ADVENTURE WITH WINEMy love of wine began while serving aboard a U.S. Navy destroyer in the Mediterranean, where time in Spain, France, Italy, and Portugal sparked a lifelong passion. After completing the Washington State University wine program, I pursued my dream and founded Glacier View Cellars in 2015.
Inspired by the wild beauty of the Pacific Northwest, Glacier View Cellars reflects my love for adventure, hiking, and living in harmony with nature. As a long-time vegetarian and animal advocate, I have chosen to craft wines that align with my values, wines made without animal by-products and using only vegan-friendly methods. Each bottle is made to capture the spirit of exploration, inviting you to celebrate life’s journeys, honor the environment, and raise a glass to adventure.

I had such a lovely time celebrating my birthday with friends here. The space is so cute and cozy, the wines are delicious (we enjoyed the rose and white), and Rita behind the counter was so friendly. I love the outdoors/hiking theme and I’ll definitely be back again with friends, maybe in the fall or winter when we can enjoy the cozy atmosphere even more!
The tasting room had such a fun theme, and while still being very classy! The hiking theme through the wines was super clever, and the story of the winery is so great! The bartender, Max, was very knowledgeable of all the wines and the mission, and provided a very pleasant experience!
Glacier View is a phenomenal winery! Stephanie’s wines are so well rounded and satisfying, and her selection of wines really showcases her range as a winemaker. The tasting room is so gorgeous and comfortable with tons of parking. They have a really fun test where you taste a random selection of wines and try to match it to the blend; it’s incredibly hard!!!! But it so fun to do and teaches you a lot about your palate. The staff is so friendly and eager to explain the wines. Plus they are SO dog friendly indoors. Her wine club is super fair and I always look forward to buying her wines.
I love this winery, never had something I didn’t love and want a bottle of. Someone said the wine was “awful”, I would wholeheartedly disagree with that statement. They probably just don’t like this style of wine, and that’s okay but that isn’t the winery’s fault. Try it out! It’s wonderful wine, a darling tasting room & friendly people.
Excellent wine, great location and amazingly creative tasting room. If you haven’t visited yet, you are missing out.
Incredible wine and so knowledgeable about what tastes will work for your pallet. Found several wines that are perfect for me !!!
Beautiful tasting room. We loved the wall sized map to look at, gave us some new areas for hiking. The wine is incredible. One of our favorite is mail box peak. We will visit again soon.
Gorgeous tasting room and the friendliest staff you'll ever meet! We got a behind the scenes view of the science of blending the different wines. What a fun experiment and amazing experience!
I thoroughly enjoyed my visit yesterday! After a tasting I got a bottle of the 2018 Napeequa Valley. The wine tasting was excellent and the ambiance was amazing with a great PNW vibe. Shauna was pleasant and knowledgeable of the different varieties of wine. Thank you Glaview View for the great experience, I’ll be back!
Great wines and really lovely tasting room. The atmosphere is really comfortable and inviting… This is a hidden gem! The wines are head and shoulders above the standard Woodinville wines. Highly recommend!!!
Great atmosphere, great place to come after a hike and relax! Non hikers this is a great place for you too! Conveniently place and ample parking.
Came here on vacation and glad we stumbled across it. The wine names are based on hiking trails and Rae was very knowledgeable about the area, wine, and hiking. We really enjoyed the conversations we had with her. The rosé is not a typical rosé but absolutely delicious. You can 100% tell that the owner has a passion for hiking, wine making and sharing her love with others.
This is the absolute best winery in Woodinville. It's run by one woman who is an absolute powerhouse. For the price, she is absolutely unbeatable. She puts so much creativity and love into her wines, and cares more about taste. Go here. You won't regret it.
Wonderful place, love it! I love the wine/hiking theme, and the wines are amazing. There is a wall topo map of the central cascades on the wall. Even the corks go with the theme!
Man, what a hidden gem! We came in for the wine, but are also hikers and were delighted with the hiking themed tasting room. Made for a unique afternoon date!
Really spectacular wines, and such a great tasting room. It's very rare for us to enjoy every wine in a tasting set, but the stuff here is among the best we've had in Washington.
Fantastic selection and friendly staff. Love the story behind them. Great prices for great wine
Stephanie was awesome! Super friendly, happy to chat with us about hiking around WA and delicious wines!! Definitely a little gem of a place that I can't wait to take my friends back to!

Kind of! Our tasting room has a roll-up door that opens to create a breezy, semi-outdoor space in good weather. It’s not a full patio, but it brings the outside in and makes for a relaxed atmosphere on sunny days.
Reservations are not required - we’re happy to welcome walk-ins. If you’re planning to visit with a larger group, please email us a few days ahead of time at info@glacierviewcellars.com so we can make sure to give you the best experience.
Glacier View Cellars is more intimate than the big warehouse-style wineries, and that’s by design. We’ve created a space full of interactive, adventure-inspired touches. Guests can jot down dreams in our magic trail register (come try for yourself!), explore a wall-sized topo map of the Cascades for trip planning, or flip through our collection of hiking and climbing books for inspiration. It’s a space to sip wine, share stories, and spark your next adventure.
We never use animal by-products like gelatin, egg whites, or fish bladders in our winemaking. Instead, we use a small amount of bentonite clay for clarification in our whites, keeping every wine fully vegan while preserving flavor.
Yes! Our wine club members are proud to be called Dirtbaggers. Our wine club gives members access to exclusive releases, special events, and discounts.
Yes! We can accommodate up to 35-40 people. We don’t have a kitchen, but we have a prep space and big bar for catering. We also have a large monitor for presentations. We are directly across from the Hampton Inn Woodinville, a great place to stay when visiting. Please contact us directly with details about your event, and we’ll be happy to discuss options.
The best way is to join our mailing list and follow us on social media. We share updates on new releases, upcoming events, and behind-the-scenes stories from the winery.
